   Patrolman Harrison Wells was electrocuted while walking his beat around midnight.

   He accidentally touched a live wire as he was attempting to turn on an arc light when he was electrocuted and killed instantly. Another officer was injured after he responded to the scene but survived.

   Patrolman Wells was survived by his wife, daughter, brother and two sisters.
